Many internship programs available to exact academic paths/interest. Generally speaking, cyber security degree seeking students may pursue positions at the CIA in STEM, Clandestine, Analysis, or Enterprise and Support Roles. Must apply senior year in high school. Rigorous application process includes polygraph, mental health evaluation, financial need, background checks, high academic marks, abstinence from drugs, and more. Successful applicants will be provided a salary as well as have tuition covered up to a certain price. Applicants may be students or cyber security professionals who are members of the ICMCP (free to join). Judging of applicants will occur based on a 1,000 word or less white paper on a cyber security challenge and how to surmount that challenge, as well as a one page write up on the significance of the paper. Awards are full Briefings passes, transportation, accommodations, and a customized onsite experience to the Black Hat USA conference. The total experience is valued at close to $50,000.

participating institution (your university) where you are formally studying an information assurance field at the bachelors through doctoral levels. Applicants must compete in the US Cyber Challenge Cyber Quests, in which participants compete to demonstrate knowledge of a number of common information assurance domains.
